● Milwaukee Retractable Screen
Motorized Retractable Screens for Patios & Porches in Milwaukee, WI
Enjoy your patio or porch on your terms with custom motorized retractable screens built for Milwaukee weather. One touch of a remote brings down a full wall of shade, wind, and bug protection, then retracts it out of sight when you want the view open again.
Stop Tolerating Your Patio's Biggest Problems
Milwaukee patios face issues: June mosquitoes, May pollen, intense UV, and uncomfortable fall wind. Homeowners often tolerate this, avoiding a full enclosure to keep the open feel.
Outdoor Oasis, Milwaukee’s authorized Sunspace dealer, installs the Sunspace Retractable Screen System.
This high-performance motorized screen provides a barrier against insects, UV, wind, and rain with a button press, maintaining your open space on your schedule. We customize and install systems for mosquito control (May-Oct), UV/glare reduction, wind protection, or smart-home connectivity, using our own trained crew.

Your Outdoor Oasis designer will evaluate your patio’s orientation, your primary use case, and any specific concerns before recommending the right fabric. We bring samples and walk through every option during your free in-home consultation.
TuffScreen
TuffScreen is the most physically durable option in the Sunspace lineup, with high pet resistance, high tear resistance, and an open weave that preserves your view of the yard while keeping insects out. The No-See-Ums variant uses a tighter mesh specifically designed to block the smaller biting insects common near wetlands and creek corridors throughout the Milwaukee area, insects that standard mesh does not stop. If you have a dog that goes in and out of the screened area, or if your patio sits near the Milwaukee River, Menomonee Valley, or any water feature, TuffScreen is the starting point.
Best for
Families with pets, high-traffic patio areas, and any Milwaukee property near water, ponds, or wooded areas where insects are the primary concern.

SunTex 90 and SunTex 95
SunTex is the performance solar screening fabric, engineered to block 90% or 95% of UV radiation depending on the grade selected, reduce glare significantly, and lower the temperature of the space beneath it by up to 11°C on summer afternoons. The higher the number, the more UV and heat are blocked, but also the more the view is filtered. SunTex 90 is the right choice when you want strong UV protection while keeping a relatively open feel. SunTex 95 is the right choice when heat reduction is the top priority, and some view filtering is acceptable.
Best for
South and west-facing Milwaukee patios where afternoon sun, UV, and heat are the primary problems, and for homeowners whose furniture and flooring have already shown UV fading.

Sheerweave
Sheerweave delivers the highest privacy rating of any screen in the lineup while still allowing filtered natural light to enter the space. From the outside during daylight hours, the screen is essentially opaque. From the inside, you retain a clear view outward. This makes Sheerweave the right choice for street-facing patios, decks adjacent to neighboring properties, or any Milwaukee outdoor space where privacy from passersby is a meaningful concern. Wind control is moderate, making Sheerweave best suited to sheltered or partially sheltered locations.
Best for
Milwaukee homeowners whose patio faces a neighbor, street, or public area where daytime privacy is the priority, and who still want to maintain natural light and an outward view.

Soltis 502
Soltis 502 is the highest-performing fabric in the lineup for wind resistance, rated very high in both wind control and overall durability. It is the right choice for exposed positions in the Milwaukee area, properties on elevated sites, lake-facing decks along the North Shore, or commercial outdoor spaces that need a screen fabric rated for consistent high-wind conditions.
Best for
Elevated decks, rooftop applications, exposed lakefront properties, and any outdoor space with significant wind exposure, where maximum structural performance is the priority.

Why Milwaukee Homeowners Are Choosing Motorized Retractable Screens
A fixed screen enclosure commits you to a single configuration. A seasonal canopy requires manual setup and takedown. A motorized retractable screen does neither.
Here is what homeowners tell us before reaching out for retractable screen installation:
"Our patio is gorgeous but useless from June through August. Mosquitoes and gnats everywhere."
"The afternoon sun makes our west-facing deck unbearable by 2 p.m. We want shade without losing the open feel."
"We have a neighbor who can see directly into our patio. We want privacy when we want it, not all the time."
"We love the idea of smart home integration. Screens down at 3 p.m., up again at sunset, automatically."
"We do not want a full enclosure, but we want something we can actually use from May through October."
The Sunspace Retractable Screen System offers a single motorized solution for weather control. Screens deploy/retract quickly in stable, guided tracks, and smart home compatibility allows for scheduled operation. If paired with a louvered pergola, Outdoor Oasis can install both simultaneously, creating a fully enclosed, weather-controlled outdoor room at the push of two buttons.
